Artistic & Flexy Classes    

        

     Artistic & Flexy classes are classes that do not require pole skill and do not need a pole to be completed.  These are classes that clearly compliment pole skills like flexibility and dance classes.    These are also classes that help you to explore empowerment through sensuality, learn a dance routine, and feel good.  


Zumba

Tuesdays at 7:30pm

Zumba takes the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. It’s effective and fun.  The benefits include a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

Sultry Sway
Thursdays at 8:45pm 




    The goal of this Sultry Sway class is to learn 1 dance routine for yourself to feel confident and beautiful.  You can also use your new skills to dance for a special someone in your life if they've earned the ultimate gift.  This class includes chair dancing and sultry dance depending on the week.  This is NOT a pole class, so you can wear leggings to class.  A pair of knee pads can be extremely helpful, and Expressions Fitness has knee pads available for sale.  This class does NOT require shoes.  Bring water and your unique, special self to this fun class.  Space is limited so sign up now!  Click on the picture to the left for a direct link. 



Flexibility

Mondays at 6:15pm 

Wednesdays at 5pm

Saturdays at 2:15pm




   Flexibility is a class designed to increase your flexibility.  Join those of us who have a full split for the first time as an adult.  Some of us have never had natural flexibility.  It's possible to gain flexibility with the right techniques.  Flexibility takes time & consistency; however, you can do it!   You will learn about rolling your body and different roller options. Rolling helps keep the muscles healthy and increased flexibility. We will be doing PNF stretching or Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation. This type of stretching allows the body to stretch further without tearing muscles.  You will need to bring comfortable clothes to stretch in, your beautiful self, and a water bottle.  Feel the freedom of increased flexibility! 
 

    

  

Floor and Sensuality 
Floor and sensuality class are also included in the Artistic and Flexy class pass; however, these classes might be slightly more challenging.   You can still wear leggings or pants to class.  There is no pole involved, but there might be a few lap dance tricks or floor tricks included.   We will make beautiful modifications so you do not have to do the tricks.

Summer Special Classes
Smooth Motion

Sunday July 16th at 1pm
Sunday August 6th at 1pm

          Smooth Motion is a class dedicated to dancing and moving from one dance move to the next like liquid, smooth.  You'll go over floor dance concepts and practice techniques.  Enjoy making your movements flow.  You can wear leggings, leg warmers, knee pads, and socks if you want for this class.    



Floor Flow: Smooth Shoulder Roll

Floor Flow is all about floorwork and learning different floor dance movements.  This particular floor class will dedicate a good portion of the time to shoulder rolls including how to do them safely, properly, and with ease.



Abs and Core

Sunday July 9th at 2:15pm

This class is dedicated to core strength and conditioning.  It will help you to gain the control you need for inverting and the muscle engagement that is so important for advanced moves.
